Now hiring elementary track coaches for the sandy area

Coolest kids running club in Utah!

Elementary Track and Cross Country Coaches Qualifications:

No previous coaching experience needed!

You do not need to be a runner or be able to keep up with the kids you coach. Just be positive, upbeat, and encouraging to your team.

We provide a coaches manual, coaching kit, training, and support.

If you can manage a group of energetic children, you can coach Race Cats! Teams of ten or more kids will also need an assistant coach. We do our best to keep the athlete to coach ratio at no more than 10 to 1. If you have a friend you would like to coach with, please let us know!

Coaches will help kids:

-Learn about pacing, positive self talk, and being a good sport.

-Burn off their energy in a positive way.

-Find belonging and friendship.

-Build confidence through setting and reaching goals.

-Be a good teammate by cheering and supporting their teammates.

Unlike most other programs that require volunteer coaches, Race Cats provides a small stipend and reimbursement for one child.
